One day we'll be famous:)

After my crash on Friday afternoon, i went back to kts house to regather my thoughts and sane'ness as they were everywhere by this point! As that night was the night that my band would play their first gig! wooO!

Was so excited to be playing a show but was devestated about my car (and back pocket. damn excess is so expensive for a male under 21!)

I trooped on and we played the gig. It was sooo fun and got great responses. The band before us are a similar style and asked us if we would play shows with them in the future! they have played with big local bands (who have been heard on the radio) so it was a real honour to have this offered to us on our first gig!!!

Crash and Burn (without the burn)

I had my first crash.

Last Friday going to Kt's house on the way home from work.

I was going in the direction of the red arrow, across 3 lanes of traffic when someone was about to turn into the street i was turning out of (shown by blue circle). He stopped (i was already in the middle of the intersection) and signalled for me to go first - so i did.

Another car, however, was already going in the direction that i was about to go (shown by green arrow) but i couldnt see him because of the other car that 'let' me go first:(

check here for pics of the crash. it damaged my front left corner and damaged the other cars drivers side door.

Car got assessed monday morning and was taken to the smash repairers and will be ready by tuesday next week (14th).
